Sometimes Clare Robertson feels like she is good at one thing, and one thing only. Unfortunately that one thing just happens to be making up fictional idiots and then making those idiots everybody else’s problem. Books and writing have been one of the few consistent features of her life and a true companion through a very turbulent and often lonely adolescence. All of her books center around queer stories, mental health rep and love letters to scared, lonely teenagers and the adults they grow into. When she isn’t writing she can be found fuelling her social media addiction, replaying Breath of the Wild or irritating her cats. Raised in Oxford by an American mom she moved to Scotland at eighteen where she received both a Masters in English and Scottish Literature and a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Edinburgh. She lives in the countryside with her partner and son.
